What is UNIPASS?
UNIPASS is the annual travel pass for University of Pavia students. It allows unlimited travel across Pavia's urban transport network and Urban Areas 1 and 2 (excluding the Noctibus service) throughout the validity period of the pass. It will be available from September 15, 2026
Who Is Eligible for UNIPASS?
UNIPASS is reserved for individuals enrolled at the University of Pavia and is available to:
- Students enrolled at the University of Pavia
- PhD students
- Erasmus students
- National Civil Service volunteers
Applicants must be enrolled in the current academic year and have paid their university fees in accordance with the University's requirements.
How Much Does UNIPASS Cost?
The UNIPASS 2026/2027 annual travel pass costs €27 for the entire validity period.
It is the most cost-effective solution for University of Pavia students who regularly use public transport.
Students enrolled in specialist postgraduate programmes and graduating students may purchase the discounted pass at a cost of €175, including the travel card for the entire validity period.
When Will UNIPASS Be Available?
UNIPASS will be available for purchase starting 15 September 2026 and will remain available until the funds allocated to the initiative have been exhausted.
A total of 11,000 UNIPASS passes are available.
For those who are unable to benefit from UNIPASS because all available passes have been allocated, UNIPASS PLUS will be available as an alternative option at a discounted price compared with the standard annual pass. Further details regarding purchase procedures and fares for UNIPASS PLUS will be announced through Autoguidovie's official communication channels.
Validity Period
The pass is valid from 15 September 2026 to 14 September 2027.
During this period, pass holders can enjoy unlimited travel on Pavia's urban and suburban transport network (excluding the Noctibus service).

UNIPASS can be purchased exclusively through the Autoguidovie App from 15 September 2026, in just a few simple steps:
- Register for a UNIPASS card through the Autoguidovie App.
- Purchase the UNIPASS pass.

❗National Civil Service volunteers are required to register and purchase the pass in person at the Viale Trieste Infopoint.
Is UNIPASS Eligible for a Tax Deduction?
Yes. UNIPASS is eligible for the tax deduction available under current Italian legislation, provided that payment is made using verifiable electronic payment methods such as credit cards, bank transfers, or other eligible digital payment solutions.
